Hmmm...that is a tricky one but I have to go with the Throne of Glass series at the moment. :)
ReplyDeleteOoooh, I saw Cinda at DragonCon this year, and she is VERY witty. I loved her ideas on magical realism. Fingers crossed!
ReplyDeleteP.S. Google & Blogger freaked out when I tried to post, sorry if it's a repeat.
This is amazing!! I am losing my mind! I can't wait to read this next installment. Chima is at the top of my author list.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite fantasy series ever is a toss up between the Chronicles of Narnia and Harry Potter.
ReplyDeleteI think my answer disappeared. :( I'll try to remember exactly what I wrote.... My favourite fantasy series is A Song of Ice and Fire. I have read many other fantasy series but this one is the best to me. I really like that each main character gets developed through his/her on POV. It makes losing them all the harder. You never know who is safe. Plus there are so many mysteries and secrets that you could spend a lifetime trying to figure out. It really is like its a whole little world.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite young adult fantasy series is Chronicle of Narnia. I am thinking that my great nephew would love this series.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite fantasy series is The Lord of the Rings, followed closely by Harry Potter.
ReplyDelete(Sorry if this comment shows up twice. My computer is spazzing today.)
Throne of Glass but I just finished Snow Like Ashes and it was good.
ReplyDeleteI am loving Throne of Glass right now and it is def. My new favorite! I'm almost done with Heir of Fire and can't wait for the rest of the series!
ReplyDeleteOoh favorite fantasy series EVER? Hmm, I'm going to have to say A song of ice and fire series by George R.R. Martin!
ReplyDeleteChronicles of Narnia
ReplyDeleteFavorite fantasy series ever: Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas. But can I say the Seven Realms series by Cinda Williams Chima as well? ;) (I'm also partial to the Inheritance Cycle by Chris Paolini)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite fantasy series is A Song of Ice and Fire by George R. R. Martin!
ReplyDeleteThat is a hard question! I think Harry Potter but possibly the Lumatere series.
ReplyDeleteLord of the Rings & Harry Potter are at the top, but I adore A Song of Ice and Fire too!
ReplyDeleteIt is seriously so hard to choose one series, especially because fantasy is my preferred genre. It's between Joe Abercrombie's First Law, The Gentlemen Bastards by Scott Lynch (ongoing), The Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson (ongoing), and either series by Daniel Abraham (Long Price Quartet and Dagger and Coin).
ReplyDeleteI'd have to say Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter of fantasy series I've read. For ones I haven't read yet (besides this one) I would say Throne of Glass and Song of Fire and Ice, I guess. Thanks so much for the chance. I love to have book that I can read but my eldest granddaughter can also enjoy.
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited! Believe it or not, this is actually my favorite fantasy series :-)
ReplyDeleteThrone of Glass is my most favorite fantasy series ever, but honestly, I really like LOTR and the Grisha trilogy too. They are all right up there together!
ReplyDeleteFavorite fantasy series ever? That would probably be Seven Realms which is by the same author as this series!
ReplyDeleteJust ONE fantasy series? *pouts* But, but, but....
ReplyDeleteOkay, fine, if I had to choose one, Harry Potter will always be on that pedestal. Explaining this choice would a) take forever and b) is probably unnecessary haha, but a quick sum up: I fell in love with the characters (main and side), the setting was gorgeous, each book had an engaging plot, the romance was sweet but didn't overshadow the plot, there was a good amount of closure, and hey, the movie adaptations were amazing!
However, I cannot post this comment without mentioned Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas. A very close second <3
This series has been on my radar for a while. I'm excited for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteWow! This series looks really good. I've got to add that to my Goodreads list. It's been a while since I've read a fantasy novel and I'd love to read these!
ReplyDeleteOops, I forgot to say, The Lord of the Rings is my favorite fantasy series, if a trilogy counts as a series. (-:
DeleteHarry Potter. So predictable, right?
ReplyDeleteI've been wanting to read this series since the teen boys I work with were obsessing over it.
ReplyDeleteLord of the RIngs :) Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteSherry Thomas Burning Sky series and Sarah J. Maas' throne of Glass series!!
ReplyDeletethank you so very much :)
My favorite fantasy series of all time would be... SUCH A HARD QUESTION!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm a big fan of the Tricksters Duology by Tamora Pierce... also the Study Series by Maria V Snyder... and more recently I've gotten into the School for Good and Evil by Soman Chainani.
I've read Chima's other series and had a lot of fun with it, so I'm a little surprised I haven't made my way to this one yet! (...too...many..books..to...read...) Hmm...since fantasy is MY THING it's hard to pick one...but my most recent one, and easily one of my favourites of all time is definitely ToG. Sarah J. Maas is my queen!
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a really interesting series, and completed, which kind of makes my fantasy heart happy XD.
ReplyDeleteChoosing a favorite fantasy series (other than Harry Potter) is practically impossible for me! I love so many. Maybe one of Tamora Pierce's Immortals Quartet. My newest favorite is the Throne of Glass series.
ReplyDeletei haven´t read a lot of fantasy, but my favorite right now is the trilogy Fire and Thorns by Rae Carson.
ReplyDeleteThe Steampunk Chronicles by Katy Cross
ReplyDeleteOh Jamie, this is so exciting!! I've heard great things about this series but haven't actually read it yet. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteAnd my favorite fantasy series is actually my favorite SERIES. Period. The End. Best of all time. It's The Queen's Thief series by Megan Whalen Turner and is just... I mean the characters are perfect and the relationships hurt me so much and the writing has like four different layers of subtext EASILY, and even though I've read the books like a dozen times I STILL find new things to ponder. Ouch.
This is a really hard question!! Fantasy it my favorite genre and I've read some amazing fantasy series. It's really hard to answer, but I can narrow it down to the top two series.
ReplyDeleteThe first one has to be the Mistborn series by Brandon Sanderson. This was series was so epic to read but also so heartbreaking. I cried so many times when I was reading it.
The second one is the Study series by Maria V. Snyder. I just fell in love with this series world and the characters. Some of my favorite characters are from this series.
Thanks for the Giveaway :D
Right now I would have to say my favorite fantasy series is Throne of Glass. Thank you for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI love The Wheel of Time. It's so epic!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite fantasy series ever? I'm going to sound cliche, but LOTR. Nothing compares.
ReplyDeleteSo cool! :D
ReplyDelete- Sabrina
My favorite fantasy has to be Harry Potter. Sorry to be cliche :P
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous question! My favorite fantasy series ever would have to be The Chronicles of Narnia but it's a toss up with L'Engle's Time Quartet and also The Inkheart trilogy!! :D
ReplyDeleteMy favorite fantasy series is The Dune Chronicles. thanks for this lovely giveaway. saubleb(at)gmail(dot)com
ReplyDeleteWow, great giveaway! Thank you thank you!
ReplyDeleteFavorite fantasy series has to be the Kushiel's Dart series. Although the Sevenwaters series is a very close second!
ReplyDeleteThe Edge Chronicles! By far my favorite books of all time.
ReplyDeleteHarry, Harry Potter! :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite recent fantasy trilogy would have to be Incarnate by Jodi Meadows! Just beautiful! :)
ReplyDeleteBlack Jewels Trilogy or Harry Potter probably, hard to pick between the two!
ReplyDeleteI've been wanting to read these books for awhile. :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite book is Harry Potter
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!
I think the Seven Realms might be my favorite fantasy series. It's so hard to pick!
ReplyDeleteOh that is SUCH A HARD QUESTION. How could I possibly narrow it down? My first was Dragon Lance but George RR Martin's is awesome obviously. And Terry Goodkind is great too. And Harry Potter of course. Yeah, I can't narrow it to one O.O
ReplyDeleteOMG this giveaway has me FREAKING OUT. Chima's Seven Realms fantasy series is one of my favorites of all time, and I've been wanting to read this series as well, but haven't started yet! I WANT TO WIN SO BADLY!!!
ReplyDeleteAs cliche as it is at the moment my favourite is the throne of glass series!
ReplyDeleteWithout a doubt, the Kingkiller Chronicles by Patrick Rothfuss.
ReplyDeleteShe's such a wonderful writer! I'm ever so slightly more in love with the Seven Realms series, but I so adore the political machinations in these books and the characters. What an awesome giveaway!!
ReplyDeleteI think my favorite will always be Harry Potter :P
ReplyDeleteHarry Potter of course! Thank you for the great giveaway!! :)
