Daisy's Book Haul
Bought/gifted:
-Maid-Sama Vol 2 by Hiro Fujiwara: I blame Debby for getting me hooked on the cuteness of this manga.
-Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo: OMG YOU GUYS THIS BOOK!! I totally loved it! And also, Leigh Bardugo came to Holland!! So I got to meet her at an event last week and it was AMAZING and she's so funny and just an all around awesome human being and now I have this lovely book signed :)
-Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo: I've already read this whole series and loved it, but I had to buy this because I hadn't gotten the memo that you could bring two books to be signed (though some people went way over and brought 7) and I just decided to indulge myself here. Because I NEVER get to meet authors and this series is very dear to my heart.
-Cold-Hearted Rake by Lisa Kleypas: I have actually only read one other books by Lisa Kleypas, but people are always mentioning her when talking about historical romance, so I felt like I needed this book.
-The Heartbreakers by Ali Novak: this is our December book club read, it sounds really good!
-Winterspell by Claire Legrand: I've been eyeing this since it came out last year, decided to just get the paperback :)
Egalleys for review:
-Lady Bridget's Diary by Maya Rodale: this author is a bit hit or miss for me, but I love that she's putting a historical spin on Bridget Jones' Diary!
-One Tempting Proposal by Christy Carlyle: this just sounds like a whole lot of amazing, I really enjoyed the first book in this series!
-These Vicious Masks by Tarun Shanker & Kelly Zekas: Jane Austen meets X-men. And it has Masks in the title. I basically don't need anything else to want to read this.
-No Love Allowed by Kate Evangelista: FAKE DATING!! I am in.
-Flawed by Cecelia Ahern: I really like Cecelia Ahern and I'm very interested to see what she'll do in the dystopian genre!
-Blood of Innocents by Mitchell Hogan: the sequel to A Crucible of Souls, which I still need to read, but this series sounds SO good!
I still haven't tried any Leigh Bardugo books. :x They sound great though!
