Lauren's Picks
Lori's Picks
New Joan Didion, enough said. Coming in March.
This looks like a fun collection of short stories that can especially speak to women in their late 20s, early 30s. But I'm sure the appeal will be broader. An Internet buddy was raving about this ARC, so I pre-ordered without much thought. Coming out early January.
Jana's Picks
It sounds like an amazing debut, and is inspired by Russian fairytales!
New Kasie West!! I loved her last book, P.S. I Love You.
11 -- RoseBlood by A.G. Howard
A Phantom of the Opera retelling! I've been wanting this for years!
A fantasy "set along the waterways of a magical world". That's ALL I NEEDED.
Which books are you excited to read next year?
No joke. Every single one of these books is going on my TBR pile right now. Take my money!
ReplyDeleteCaraval is one I cannot wait to discover (just look at the stunning cover!) and Kasie West's books seem like ideal reads for me, the girl who likes sweet romance best. :)
ReplyDeleteWell, this list just added a bunch more books to my TBR...lol!
ReplyDeleteSo many of these titles sound so good. I am really looking forward to reading The Bear and the Nightingale too. Also, The Bone Witch. And several others on the list. So many good books!
ReplyDeleteI love this topic. Adding books to my TBR is always fun. Caraval made my list too and Bone Witch & Lucky in Love only just missed the cut. Just added The Bear and the Nightingale & Song of the Current to Goodreads. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteNorse Mythology is on my list as well! And Caraval almost made it. Great list!
ReplyDeleteOoh nice! A few of these I knew about but a LOT I didn't! That last one sounds really interesting too!
