Top Ten Books We Wouldn't Mind Santa Leaving Under Our Trees This Year
Lauren's Picks
Jamie's Picks
4-- My Grandmother Asked Me To Tell You She's Sorry by Fredrick Backman -- This one looks really great! Hannah's raving about it made me add it to my list, I believe!
5 -- The Diviners by Libba Bray -- I've really wanted to read this one for a while and recently have been like "yeah, I want that day to be soon. "
6 -- Hello? by Liza Wiemer -- I've heard nothing but amazing things and Liza is so lovely!
Bridget's Pick
8 -- The Thousand Dollar Tan Line by Rob Thomas
I just discovered Veronica Mars this year, and I LOVED it! So I am dying for this book!
I was lucky enough to get that pretty illustrated Harry Potter book for my birthday! Hopefully Santa brings it to you; it's a beautiful edition! :)
ReplyDeleteOh I so hope Santa brings you the illustrated HP because it is just beautiful! Also whoohoo for discovering Veronica Mars. I have loved it so much and the first book was pretty awesome. I would suggest though trying the audiobook for book one since it's narrated by none other than Kristen Bell, Veronica Mars herself. It was the first audiobook I really listened to and reviewed. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteVeronica Mars! I should of added it to my list!!
ReplyDeleteA couple of these are on my list too. Hope you all have a great holiday.
ReplyDeleteI recently received The Witches...can't wait to read it!
ReplyDeleteOOh nice! I finally read The Diviners this year and really liked it! Loved the first Veronica Mars book as well! Still need to read the second!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
There are some great books here. Illustrated Harry is also on my list! And thank you for reminding me that I would like to read Zeroes, and for letting me know that there is a new Fredrik Backman novel!
ReplyDeleteI'm lucky to have the illustrated edition of Harry Potter. Haven't read it yet, but I just know it's gonna be amazing :) I had a copy of The Diviners that I DNF'ed and gave away via Twitter with the #booksfortrade I just couldn't get into it and didn't feel like pushing through such a chunky book to get to the good spots (if there were any). I know tons of people LOVE that book though.
ReplyDeleteI didn't ask anyone for the illustrated HP book for Christmas but I would definitely love to have it!
ReplyDeleteWe have the illustrated Harry Potter - I got it for my hubby for Christmas. It is absolutely GORGEOUS!! I hope you do find it under your tree :)
ReplyDeleteIf You're Lucky is fantastic as is Hello? by Liza! I hope you get some of the books you've been wishing for! Happy Holidays!

Great list!! The Illustrated Harry Potter looks awesome. I will have to check out the Veronica Mars books. I've seen them around, but I haven't read any of them. I hope Santa brings you everything that you want and you have a wonderful holiday!!

ReplyDeleteGreat choices! HP illustrated looks so darn beautiful! I'm quite keen to get my hands on The Diviners, too - Libba Bray is awesome!
ReplyDeleteThe Illustrated Harry Potter looks interesting!

These all look fantastic. The illustrated Harry Potter has been in my thoughts for a while, but alas it didn't make it on my list. (instead I mourned over my TBR's :P )
ReplyDeleteOh, I had forgotten about the Veronica Mars book series. I've got to remedy this error. I hope you both get the books on your wishlist! Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteDidn't realize Scott Westerfield had another book! I've got to get my hands on Zeroes.
ReplyDeleteI loved The Diviners...I hope you do, too! The Thousand Dollar Tan Line is fantastic BUT you have to watch the Veronica Mars movie right before. It's set 2 months or so after the movie (I hadn't watched it yet when I listened to the audiobook, and was pretty confused). I'm looking forward to listening to Mr. Kiss and Tell, myself. Oh, and V. Mars herself is the narrator! :D
