The first book to get me out of it was When I was the Greatest by Jason Reynolds. All Our Yesterdays by Cristin Terril is AMAZING. It's so intense and crazy. Of Metal and Wishes hasn't been released yet but if you use Edelweiss you could req an ARC? It's a Phanton of the Opera retelling.. also creepy and intense but I made myself read the last 80% of it in one day 'cause I just couldn't put it down even though a LOT of it is super problematic in a way.<br /><br />Also going to suggest re-reading your favorites as well! Especially the ones you haven't read in a while.
