The plot definitely became something that I would not have expected from a 19th century novel.

Marian was definitely my favorite. Collins wrote a very strong, intelligent character.

It was a good story, and one that just. kept. going. There were so many major plot points that would be solved, but there would still be more story. It was getting to the point where I was starting to wonder if the story would ever end, or if Collins' book was self-extending, continuing the story on from generation to generation of the families. It felt a little drawn out, but the end was satisfying, and I enjoyed it.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5345948308406299194.post-57474541192990838472011-02-04T22:12:13.776-05:002011-02-04T22:12:13.776-05:00this sounds really interesting, the cover is prett...this sounds really interesting, the cover is pretty spooky!! have a great weekend!Carrie at In the Hammock Bloghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01496016097652195216noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5345948308406299194.post-29103925178060515652011-02-04T19:41:53.763-05:002011-02-04T19:41:53.763-05:00Thanks for the review, this book is one I never wo...Thanks for the review, this book is one I never would have considered, but it sounds intriguing.
