It reminded me a bit of reading The Diary of Anne Frank in the sense that it was so personal I felt a little guilty reading it.Annanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5345948308406299194.post-3151547337006465602010-07-09T22:32:02.428-04:002010-07-09T22:32:02.428-04:00Wonderful review for a wonderful book, by the look...Wonderful review for a wonderful book, by the looks of it. I feel like expectations get built up about love when people watch fictional movies or read fiction books. I know sometimes I'll sit there and say, "Oh my gosh. I wish a guy would do that for me." I feel like it can really hurt people's expectations for what love is supposed to be like. I find real life love stories like this to be so much more powerful. Particularly because this wasn't even supposed to be published.

The most genuine display of love that I've witnessed is how my stepdad took care of my mom throughout her battle with cancer. THAT is real love that lasts. It isn't the mushy gushy things that we see on movies...although it's fun to ooh and aww over.

Really great review! I honestly believe I'll pick this one up.Jamiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08905075906530067471noreply@blogger.com
