I met him here in San Francisco and he is one of the funniest people I've ever met. A Dirty Job is the first book of his that I read, I hope you love it! Lamb is probably my absolute favorite of his, with A Dirty Job coming second.<br /><br />I re-read Fahrenheit 451 this year and loved it (I actually hated it the first time I read it oddly enough... maybe because it was for school). Running with Scissors is also fantastically funny.
