If I'm reading a book that has a forword that tells you something really bad is going to happen, I'm always hoping that somehow it won't as I get to the events leading directly up to it (even with the beheading of Anne Boleyn, though I know it happened in real life, I always hope she finds a way to escape or something).Daisyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11468649356197119023noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5345948308406299194.post-68501314364714128142010-09-04T12:22:42.963-04:002010-09-04T12:22:42.963-04:00Excellent review! If its in the summary that pisses me off, but if its part of the narrative and done right I don't mind. Sometimes I even forget, then remind myself through thoughts like "But wait, how can it even get so bad as to end up at the beginning"

The first thing that comes to mind is Moulin Rouge (it's a movie but whatever.) my point is it was so good I forgot what was said in the beginning until it was too late.

Anyway, great review!Juliahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16831322497489282381noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5345948308406299194.post-20438207526812385492010-09-04T12:12:17.562-04:002010-09-04T12:12:17.562-04:00The cover is scary!

So I usually skip over introductions now.Jenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02672813820194476746noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5345948308406299194.post-76118498942233582462010-09-04T11:38:48.136-04:002010-09-04T11:38:48.136-04:00This seems like a book I would enjoy, but I don...This seems like a book I would enjoy, but I don't know about those painful first 100 pages!Allisonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18384554351353947602noreply@blogger.com
