I agree that it totally could've been wrapped up in one book.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5345948308406299194.post-55415162622414814632010-08-17T14:55:37.943-04:002010-08-17T14:55:37.943-04:00You know I have to say now that I think about it, ...You know I have to say now that I think about it, knowing that this was a series (or a potential series) may have increased my enjoyment of it toward the end. I wouldn't have worried so much about wrapping up loose ends. I may have even bumped up my star count to a 4 (a big thing for me)Juliahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16831322497489282381noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5345948308406299194.post-21031261062187698672010-08-17T10:37:15.064-04:002010-08-17T10:37:15.064-04:00I'd heard about this one and had my eye on it....I'd heard about this one and had my eye on it...but I've heard mixed reviews. May pick it up if my public library gets a copy ;-) Great review!booksploringhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16598859551787247628noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5345948308406299194.post-43370236624609021302010-08-17T09:28:02.394-04:002010-08-17T09:28:02.394-04:00I absolutely hate it when I can't stand a char...I absolutely hate it when I can't stand a character. It pretty much ruins a book for me most of the time, except for Frankenstein, oddly. There I really like the book but HATE the main character (as you all know from last week's Top Ten Tuesday).Tahleenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10330160603781228707noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5345948308406299194.post-51418658263852201812010-08-17T05:43:19.848-04:002010-08-17T05:43:19.848-04:00I have this on my to-read list, didn't know it...I have this on my to-read list, didn't know it was part of a series either! Like Jamie said, it makes a huge difference if you know or not while reading it.
I'm now even more convinced I need to read this book (I liked the first two sisterhood books), great review!Daisyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11468649356197119023noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5345948308406299194.post-5297142603145889192010-08-16T23:04:56.498-04:002010-08-16T23:04:56.498-04:00I definitely think knowing whether a book is part ...I definitely think knowing whether a book is part of a series (planned or otherwise already out) has a big impact on how I view the book while reading and finishing it!Jamiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08905075906530067471noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5345948308406299194.post-50590325093451984792010-08-16T22:21:48.400-04:002010-08-16T22:21:48.400-04:00This sounds like a really good book. I've seen this book everywhere and thought, Ann Brashares, I think read some books by her in high school. Duh! Of course I did, I read the first two books in the traveling pants series but couldn't get into the third and just stopped. This one sounds kind of interesting though, thanks for the review.Ashhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00878749520906342274noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5345948308406299194.post-79072588276491881132010-08-16T17:55:12.270-04:002010-08-16T17:55:12.270-04:00Despite being kind of sad about this book, I would...Despite being kind of sad about this book, I would recommend reading it. It was actually an interesting story. I will most likely pick up the sequel. Maybe not as soon as it comes out, but I'll read it eventually.Juliahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16831322497489282381noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5345948308406299194.post-52460807970629835022010-08-16T12:02:17.577-04:002010-08-16T12:02:17.577-04:00This sounds really interesting! I hate being disappointed in that way!Jamiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08905075906530067471noreply@blogger.com
