Damage by Sue Mayfield (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1409636.Damage?ac=1). It's YA about a group of teenagers involved in a car crash and the after effects of the incident. It's told in present day and flashbacks. I had to read it for school and my year was almost at that age where we would be driving so I think it hit us all in a way that we didn't expect. I've not read it in years so it may not be as good as I remember it but I definitely believe it's worth a read.

Lauren @ myexpandingbookshelf.blogspot.co.uk
Laurenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08640372409549232542noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5345948308406299194.post-2467025024105053462015-05-01T13:08:13.106-04:002015-05-01T13:08:13.106-04:00The India Black by Carol K. Alongside the crime aspect there is a feisty female heroine who has continually chemistry with the male lead and the stories are both funny and dark at different times. There are about 5 in the series (I think!) although each is a standalone in its own right if you don't read in order. His books are short and don't have strong plots, but are mainly getting inside the heads of the quirky characters. Also - but completely different - the Cahill Witch Chronicles by Jessica Spotswood, which is a young adult trilogy about three sisters who are witches and live in an alternate version of colonial America. I have no idea why this series is not more popular.3goodratshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10352969901692029558noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5345948308406299194.post-58976659247759157552015-04-30T14:44:17.125-04:002015-04-30T14:44:17.125-04:00My all-time favourite book is Shades of Grey by Ja...My all-time favourite book is Shades of Grey by Jasper Fforde. It's so unique and beautiful, I can't get it off my mind. It's about Tiger Lily's life in Neverland, written from Tinker Bell's point of view.
